On the Hill: Skico job fair is Friday

The Aspen Skiing Co. will hold is annual job fair Friday at Bumps restaurant at the base of Buttermilk .
Department heads from numerous divisions within the company will conduct on-site interviews from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jobs are available in the ski school, on-mountain restaurants, ticketing, lift operations, retail and other areas. Both part-time and full-time positions are available.
Skico employees receive benefits such as a full, unrestricted, four-mountain lift pass, health benefits, 401K after one year of employment and free chairlift access at other Colorado resorts.
"This is always such a fun event for us. We have so many different jobs with something for everyone," Skico recruiting coordinator Kellie Ulrich said in a prepared statement. "We have jobs designed for parents with school age children, part time jobs in our restaurants and fun jobs in the retail stores. Our peak part-time ski and snowboard instructor jobs are perfect for people who just want to work part-time and be out on the hill. This event is one stop shopping, allowing applicants to meet several managers in one day."
